Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week

Lattes
Miriam Levy, Debra Rettman, Audrey Aboulafia, Diane Medved and Julie Varon whip up some pretty tasty lattes

This was a short but exciting week at NYHS.  When staff and students arrived Tuesday morning, we were greeted by wonderful parent volunteers who acted as baristas and served teachers and staff lattes and biscotti!

The school was decorated with signs of admiration for the staff.  The next day, teachers and staff enjoyed a delicious salmon lunch in the famous Hula Bula Hut and despite the weather, we felt transported to Hawaii!

On Thursday, our school was in bloom with beautiful bright and festive flowers and balloons for all staff members!

We thank Diane Medved for chairing this week of appreciation!  Diane has chaired Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week for 7 of the past 8 years!

Thank you to all the parents, students and former parents (Terri Schneeweiss!) for making our week special.  We felt the love!

Thank you to our volunteers:

Audrey Aboulafia, Miriam Levy, Ben Varon, Julie Varon, Iris Schwartz, Francine Gaillour, Debra Rettman, Shelly Brown, Shellie Black, Phil Jacobs, Jane Orenstein, Mark Orenstein, Sarah Rivkin, Aaron Orenstein, Andrew Orenstein and Terri Schneeweiss!

(if we left you off, it was unintentional.  Please let us know so we can remedy for next week)
