Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week
June 1, 2 and 3
Thank you to the following parents and former parents who have responded to help express our gratitude to NYHS Teachers and Staff:  Audrey Aboulafia, Shellie Black, Miriam Levy, Jane Orenstein, Phil Jacobs, Debra Rettman, Francine Gaillour, Iris Schwartz and Terri Schneeweis!

It's not too late!!  Helpers are still very much needed to:
**  Make thank-you signs and help put them up Monday morning when school's closed
**  Be a Barista at the Latte Stand Tuesday, especially for the afternoon teachers
**  Decorate and serve our staff at the Hula Bula Hut luncheon, Wednesday 8 am to 1 pm
**  Arrange flowers and balloons for the desks of our Teachers and Staff, Wednesday after school

Can't come in person?  That is ok.  Help by donating to help defray the costs of this fun week!  Contact me or drop off your donation in the office!

Students have signed the thank-you banner that will grace the Office...

But, WE NEED FLOWERS,  cut from your yard or purchased, for the arrangements!
Bring them Wednesday morning to the buckets outside the front door!

And importantly--this is about the mitzva of "Ha karat ha tov," recognizing the good others do for us!
Students, bring thank-you notes and tokens to your fave teachers and staff on THURSDAY!

Email Diane Medved to (please!) volunteer...and THANK OUR DEDICATED TEACHERS AND STAFF!
