Photos of the Week- Scenes of Adar

To the uninitiated, visiting NYHS during the Hebrew month of Adar could be disconcerning!  Just ask the two prospective students visiting this past Tuesday!

Over the long weekend, Level 5 Women spent a lot of creative energy getting the campus ready for the crazy month of Adar and the days leading to Purim.  This year, students, faculty, staff and visitors were greeted with signs detailing heightened security efforts with biometrical scans, metal detectors and much more.  Duck tape and streamers decorates many corridors and windows to create the feeling of imprisonment!  Wanted posters screamed for the whereabouts of former teachers.

 Biometric Scans and Security

The days leading to Purim are spirited! Wander into NYHS any day this week or next and you may find yourself wondering about the eclectic student body of Superheroes, gansters, hippies, fuzzy animals and 80s divas.  Check out next week's schedule on the sidebar and join the fun!
