Triple Your Tzedakah Dollars Today with help from Samis!
Samis is offering a wonderful challenge grant to NYHS friends. Any dollar you donate to NYHS now through June 30th will be matched with two dollars from Samis!
This is exciting news and we thank all of you who have already taken advantage of this opportunity to triple your tzedakah and triple your impact on our students! In just one week, we are a third of the way to our goal! With your help, we have raised $25,000 so far to be matched by Samis. Help us raise $50,000 more by June 30th.

Alumni Update
Jeremy Sandler 2003

Jeremy is a 2003 graduate of NYHS. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Washington and graduated in 2007 from the UW in Honors Biology. For the past two years, Jeremy has been doing genetic research at the Lawrence Livermore National Lab in Berkely. Jeremy has just received a full stipend scholarship to study at California Institute of Technology in the Masters PHD program in Biology and Genetics! Mazal tov Jeremy! But there is more good news to share... Jeremy has also just gotten engaged to a young woman he met while at Berkely, Tamara Farkas. Tamara is from LA and teaches Judaics in the Oakland Hebrew Day School and has just been accepted into the Delet program for next year.

Cake, Food and Dessert Auction
